Here you can find and archive of my favorite songs/ albums of the past few years until now with (sometimes) a little explination on why i like it. i listen to a lot of music so i wont be able to put everything but i'll try to update it when i remember something. Some are serious and some are songs that i just have stuck in my head. I would love to get recommendations which you can leave via the bulletin board.

"The Return Of The Durutti Column (album) - The Durutti column" I think this is one of my favorite bands of all time. They have so many nostalgic songs and beautiful melodies.
"The Pride Parade - Don McLean" His songs always remind me of when i was constantly on roadtrips with family when i was younger. I like listening to his music when i want to hear a familiar voice.

"Ride like hell - Big Sugar" Reminds me of staying at my grandma house.
"Ican't wait - New Shooz" Reminds me of my mom. (she is always singing this song)

"Within th depths o the darkened forest (album) - Autumn's grey solace" They have been one of my favorite bands for like the past 4 years. I dont listen to them too frequently because i want to keep their sound special and fresh to my ears.

"Done got old - Junior Kimbrough" I would definitely recommend his music.
Literally any song by Dwight Yoakam. (A thousand miles from nowhere, fast as you, two doors down, Ain't that lonely yet). I listened to a ton of country in my childhood and i still do. I know every single lyric of every song and every melody.
George Strait Again nostalgic country. (carried away, adalida, Amarillo by morning, COWBOYS LIKE US). Reminds me of neighborhood barbecues.
Clint Black Again nostalgic country. (Killin time, STATE OF MIND!, a better man, No time to kill, Like the rain)
Loretta Lynn Again nostalgic country. Her voice is beautiful and i can literally hear my parents singing along when i hear her songs. Harper valley PTA is engraved in my brain.
Tanya Tucker Again nostalgic country. Same as Loretta Lynn, her music was and still is always sung in my house.
Alan Jackson Again nostalgic country. Every christmas in my house was a honky tonky christmas.

Enya She is probably the most nostalgic artist i know. My mom would play or sing her music when i was little and had to go to bed, we played her music in the car, at church, on christmas... she was such a core memory of mine and her music will always be the most beautiful and special thing to me.

"Here without you - Three Doors Down" I don't have an explination for why i like this but i know every lyric and intonation and will sing it whenever presented the opprotunity to do so.
"The spoils - Massive Attack" I love this song to death.

"The last of the Mohicans soundtrack (album) - Various artists" Actually one of the best soundtracks ever.

"Rock On - David Essex" This reminds me of the nature in Manchester and going on a hike with my sister.

"Beyond The Willow Tree (album) - Cleveland Francis" I genuinely think this is one of the best singers ever. It's so soft and melodic and i love it.
"Roslyn - Bon Iver" This song reminds me of the forest at my grandma's house in washington and the the nostalgia that that memory brings.
"Your lips, my mouth - Airiel" this song makes me think of an old special someone.
Emergency Turn Off - All natural lemon & lime flavors" Reminds me of the same old special someone.
"Ode to quetzalcoatl - Dave Bixby"
"The promise of snakes - The Angelic Process" I love this song a lot, it brings back memories of being very sad in the summer of '23.
"Te slova - Kosaya Gora" My sister showed me this song. It makes me extremely sad although i'm not sure what they are saying.
"A place to sleep - Air Hunger" I will actually die if i listen to this it is so sad.
"Forever Frozen - Davy Spillane" Me and my brother found this song on a CD we randomly bought at a thriftstore a few years ago. It was a celtic mix CD and this song was the first track on it.
"Jeff Buckly - Grace (album)" It is quite popular, but definitley not overrated. The vocals are stunning and emotional, the lyricism is poetic and soft.
"Closer - Kings Of Leon" Dramatic and i love it.
"See you down - Queen Omega" Queen for a reason.
"Gucci Gucci - Kreayshawn" I also don't know why i like this song but i can resite the whole thing out of my head.
"Solià - Bad Bunny" The melody in this song is nostalgic.
